5/18/2023 0 Comments Dante and vergil dmc 5Nero manages to win the battle with his dead-beat dad, but the group is still left with the Qliphoth to deal with.Ĭhopping the Qliphoth down is small potatoes for people like Dante and Vergil, but unfortunately it's only possible to do so while in hell, and that means whoever is down there will be stuck once the portal closes. He challenges Vergil, and the two agree that if Nero wins both brothers will stop trying to kill each other. While Dante and Vergil had been fighting, Nero realized that he could not live with either brother killing the other, and so he returns to the Qliphoth's apex to put an end to their fighting. Their sibling rivalry is ruined, however, when Nero comes busting back in with a new Devil trigger form of his own. Despite this, both remain intent on killing one another. In recombining his halves, Vergil also gained a Sin Devil Trigger, and now he and Dante are practically even. Unfortunately the player is still vastly underequipped for the job, so it's advisable to beat the game at least once and come back once they've buffed up a bit.ĭante catches up with Vergil and the two duke it out again, only for their battle to result in a draw. The player will get another shot at Urizen later on, but to unlock the secret ending they'll have to beat him in the prologue. Dante stays behind to hold Urizen off while Nero and V flee with heroic cowardice. Once the player's health bar empties, the story progresses and both Nero and Dante are defeated. Luckily, this is a boss fight which the designers do not expect the player to win. So, in all likelihood, the demon lord Urizen will probably wipe the floor with them in this bout. By this point, the player has been in the game for all of 20 minutes, and has unlocked no extra abilities. In an unexpected turn of events, DMC5 holds nothing back by throwing the game's main antagonist right at them from the onset. If the player manages to conquer a certain challenge at the end of the game's prologue, then they'll unlock a secret ending vastly different in almost every way from the story's standard conclusion.Īt the end of Devil May Cry 5's prologue mission, the player is met with a nearly insurmountable challenge. Unlike every other game in the series, Devil May Cry 5 has a pretty substantial secret that most players are likely to miss on their first playthrough.
